The watersportbaan

During my internship at De Kwekerij, I also created an isometric illustration, where I could showcase my more technical skills in Illustrator. The drawing visualizes the district heating network in Ghent and clearly shows how the lines spread from Ghent throughout the rest of the city.

Although the style is simple, there’s a lot happening in the illustration: it provides a clear and insightful overview of the network and its connections. It was an interesting challenge to present technical information in a clear and visually appealing way, and the result demonstrates how efficient design can communicate complex data.
